Night Thoughts
The night winds down like a purple velvet curtain in the sky...
I looked for you so long...
Now all I can do is sigh.
The clouds roll in soft and thin to coat my mind, till I turn in to bed...
They void the stars that twinkle bright up higher...
Making it hard to see you in my head.
I long to be with you and to make your world better...
But life has clouded me from you...
It can not stop our LOVE so I write this letter !
I hope that your thoughts are about me while you dream...
Confirming my love for you...
Before mornings light streams.
The bed covers twist and pull like the cruel world outside...
My dreams of good times shared...
You run thru my thoughts, I do not lie.
