Love Poem: New Year's Eve 2003

New Year's Eve 2003

Unconditional love in 2003 was the greatest gift ever given to me.
Matrimony ceremony dressed in pink; wedded bliss satisfied our link.
At 12:01 we two, that morn’, gave assurances of life, which love adorned.
We began the day with laughter and smiles, which has followed us these many miles.
Love together has known hopes riches on mountaintops and through some hitches.
January first, for better or for worse, we celebrate life with our dreams immersed.
The perpetual gift of not so long ago still sees us smile as we feel loves glow.
Each year after Christmas has come and gone we renew our vows to make us strong.
Then I sit back reflecting on the decision made, hopping upon life’s new cascade.
And I know in my heart, we continue strong; New Year’s Day we rejoice in love’s song.
