New Year's Dreams
My dreams are simple, my wants
are few.
My vast, passionate dream is to
forevermore, persist in the love
I have, aglow, in my heart for you.
That love is my alarm clock that
arouses me each morning and with
each meal we savor!
It's also the spice of you, that without
exception, each dish is so delightfully,
flavored!
I honestly used to dream of traveling
the vast world so wide.
But if you are not in it with me, that
I absolutely,cannot abide!
No event, no museum, no cruise,
nor grand prize, shall ever be,
The stars, the moon and the sun that
my dearest, you are to me!
You take my breath away,more than
any view or famous fountain.
I still cannot comprehend, the magic
of you, the master of my very soul,
you, it's veritable captain!
My dream is so breathtaking I just
in all humility, sincerely pray.
That you live very long, and within
my loving arms do for eternity,stay!
