Love Poem: Nevermore

Nevermore

There’s nothing worse
Then to see a familiar face
Reduced to nothing but a picture
There’s nothing harder
Then to hear a familiar voice
Become the soundtrack to a video

I can’t stand it anymore
To have a friend
Nevermore
To see the people
That I love most
Colored brown with age
I won’t stand it anymore
To lose a friend
Nevermore
I don’t want lose this
To nothing at all

There’s nothing worse
Then to never see that face
That you spent so many hours with
There’s nothing harder
Then to never hear that voice
That was almost like your own

I can’t stand it anymore
To have a friend
Nevermore
To see the people
That I love most
Colored brown with age
I won’t stand it anymore
To lose a friend
Nevermore
I don’t want lose this
To nothing at all

If I could take it back
I would not have been so stupid
You only realize how good it was when it’s gone
If I could say I’m sorry
I’d do it without thinking
Cause I only realized how good it was once they were gone

I can’t stand it anymore
To have a friend
Nevermore
To see the people
That I love most
Colored brown with age
I won’t stand it anymore
To lose a friend
Nevermore
I don’t want lose this
To nothing at all
I can’t stand it anymore
To have a friend
Nevermore
To see the people
That I love most
Colored brown with age
I won’t stand it anymore
To lose a friend
Nevermore
I don’t want lose this
To nothing at all
