Love Poem: Never Ask Why I Cry

Never Ask Why I Cry

It's all too late, now words have been said
Your texts have been a thousand times read

I believed all the lies that I was being fed
I'm all alone now, that's how I’ve been left

You left me mixed signals for my rejection
There's no life sat nav, to keep my direction

It’s bringing me down
In my tears I drown

Never ask
Never ask why
Never ask why I cry

There’s no point in asking for more words to be said
All of your texts are now deleted and dead

I’m now curled up, laying in my bed
My hearts been stolen, I’m a victim of theft

Your mixed signals gave false perceptions
There’s no magic pill to fill my rejection

It’s bringing me down
In my tears I drown

Never ask
Never ask why
Never ask why I cry
