Never Alone
Words, both nouns and verbs,
Fall from her pen,
Erasing the darkness, spinning light
Into a gentle caress, a kiss
From the spirit who believes,
Who aches to release the dreams,
All the precious feelings, the sentiments,
Who agree…
She creates her moments,
Through silence and sound, through
Praise, and prayers,
Through faith – she believes,
There is peace, there is grace,
There is love that never disappears,
It is just as sure as the smallest parts of her,
Parts who know there is eternity,
The promise, always…
Words, both tender and quaint,
Surprising even her, when they fall from her ink,
Dripping with lessons, seeds planted
By faraway blessings, when she will be…
Full of the light that she cannot see,
Light that inspires, light – a distant fire,
Arriving on the winds of honesty,
Soothing away the dark shadows, the past,
Where her heart foresees…
This is her destiny – to forever be,
Caught up in a wonder,
Music comforting, calming, breaking through,
The dreams, never seen, abiding,
Giving the spirit wings,
Easing every memory, each adventure,
A moment in a destiny…
Will she forever be – a key, unlocking each mystery,
Her heart faithful, her spirit graceful,
Moments spent in worship, praising the One,
She knows as God’s Son, the forever light, the guide
Who welcomes her home – where He has grown,
To be the world’s only hope, for hearts who know…
His love will forever grow, an endless sea of light,
Falling gentle, silencing the night – coloring the spirit
In blessings, sweetest miracles…
He is with her, always giving to her…
The answer to her prayers, the promise that He’s there,
Never leaving her alone, never letting her doubt…
Forever in her soul, He is the One who makes a home –
In the heart who believes He is our reason,
Our need, the answer to our fears,
The beautiful in our peace, the music in our grief,
The light who glistens inside of love,
Love that frees the heart to see, the soul to breath,
The spirit to believe – He is the kindness we need,
The compassion and generosity – the friend that never leaves!
