Never Again Will I Dare Lose

Never Again Will I Dare Lose
       (Triolet sonnet)

The last day your heart was all mine
Your kiss sent me into a spin
That memory sent me to choose
Another path to make you mine
And again our love never lose
Playing this game to always win
Join only your sweet heart with mine
This lovely dream has no tail-spin
Never again will I dare lose
Your hand softly resting in mine
United we are doing fine
Our hot love is not ever sin
It is sweetest proof you are mine
And never lost to other men

Triolet sonnet-
The rhyme pattern becomes: A. B. a. A. a. b. A. B. a. A. a. b. A. B.?It would work with the A & B
lines being completely repeated or just a phrase or just the rhyme word repeated. The a and b are
of course just standard rhyme. There is no set syllable count, although eight syllables is common
with most of the French forms.

My promised effort to Peter Duggan using this form.
Given after reading his fine poem- "First few days of spring" written in this sonnet form.
