Nature Speaks

As salty tears flow in sad waves Arms hang like branches blown Reach weeping into foggy thoughts Of starlight dreams I've known. Birds chirp a dirge in memory Outside my window's dawn. A new day heralds sorrow Alas, my love has flown. Deep in my heart, a flower wilts It speaks of love's demise Waif flora keeps a painful watch ~ by nature's rules 'twill die. Sweet sun shine hope upon this soul Clouds spare your shadow's cast Rain go away another day I need Nature's sweet fruits to last. Place flowers on my window sill, That speak of rainbow's hues. Heaven sing hymns of strength and love and send courage to start anew.
