Nature, Never Savage

Enough of all the ritiuous talk
of high morals, rolled up in napkins
and set to the table
You eat with them so dignified and free
Becoming what you are meant to become
what you really feel and love so dearly
You do not believe there is fire after the
mind shuts its doors, when the sun of your
soul takes eternal shade.
Your hands are hand made.
You did this once before many years ago
when you were trying do hard to hide who you
really were, who you were dying to be
You smiled all the time like everyone
were members of a roaring audience.
When you had something to offer
they were your best friends all the time
But when turned your back it was always the bird
Dam I really miss seeing your back
I miss flipping you the beard.
Now your looking at me confused
Don't you get it? I'm an animal... an almighty
human being, pretending to be civilized.

They love you when you were a champion
and when you started to lose they still loved you
but this time because your marketable
Now turn your back to me.
