Love Poem: My Valentine

My Valentine

Valentine is here again,
Time to make that loved one smile,
Tell her you remember when,
A kiss from her you’d run a mile.

I remember when our love was like a flower in bloom,
Since then so many years have past,
You were my bride, I was your groom,
Old Cupid shot his arrow deep with a love that will forever last.

As time has changed the way we look,
It can never change the way we feel,
It was your hand in marriage I took,
It was my heart I let you steal.

We were so young and foolish then,
Two young hearts so filled with love,
Those precious memories keep flooding in,
This love was arranged by someone up above.

To you my dear I want to say,
You are the world and all to me,
Our love still grows with each new day,
My Valentine for all to see.
