Melancholy
Breaking through my
Deepest thoughts
Into my heart’s
Haven of hope
Drifting in and out
Like the beating
Echoed through my veins
Bleeding, flowing in rich
Crimson drops
Feelings rearranged
Within me
Revealing the way
To breathe in
Blankets
Of
Dark angst
Fear and mourning
Regret that weeps
With grief for – not only
What has been in yesterday
But what is to come again
With the rising of the sun
And the longing within
By soul
A teardrop flows
Cheerlessly
Expressing the way
Toward despair
Where my feelings
Know only the aching
Pain that lives
To cut through my
Feelings for him
The one who did me in
With his selfishness
And greed for
