Love Poem: My Sorrow

My Sorrow

About sleep, without dreams
The thoughts inside
The soul. The heart
All this is tearing me apart

In a continuous circle
Of average, grey days
And of my soul
I don’t think in many ways

I run, I hurry, I'm not prudent.
Work, daughter, home, a college student.
I run so hard you’d think I’m mad.
My thought are not about that!

When it will end
When things begin improving
My life will start
And forward I’ll be moving.

When I was loved
When I could love
All troubles seemed to go above

Those moments gone
What’s left is pain
And bitterness of surprise
Is falling on my head like rain

My body’s young
My soul is winter
My bed is cold
My heart is old

Regret, pain and tears
Damaged me throughout the years
Where before were roses
Now an empty vessel poses

Flying and spinning
And obscuring light
There’s no where to go
I gave up my fight.

My dreams are like visits
When there I arrive
Where there’s no pain
You are asleep and you are ALIVE
