My Regrets
Regrets for some people can at times be untrue.
Regrets for some people can be sad and maybe blue.
These regrets I have are certainly none of the above,
Just things I regret I'll never get to do with the special one I love.
I regret I did'nt hold you more like I wish I could have done.
I regret I did'nt kiss you more and tell you you were the only one.
I regret I did'nt hold your hand and stare into your eyes.
I regret none of what I told you and know there were no lies.
I regret not lying next to you with the covers pulled over our heads.
I regret not kissing you all over and just staying in our beds.
These regrets I know are foolish, although they are so true.
But my biggest yet painful regret is I'm still in love with you.
