My Prayer
Lord please bless this mighty land,
Guide us with Your all mighty and righteous hand.
Heal our once great nation and make us once again strong,
Forgive us Lord our wanton ways even those we know are wrong.
I know peace will never return again,
Till we start following in your light and turn ourselves away from evil and sin.
Our freedom is probably the most expensive thing we own,
Bought with the blood of our patriots who sacrificed all for the love of this country, the greatest one known.
Father please forgive us as we seemed to have looked the other way,
And without warning the adversary entered that very day.
And now we battle just to call out Your name,
And we let them remove your name and Your guidance, truly we are to blame.
The Commandments You gave were the framework from hence we built,
But corruption has infiltrated and now we wallow in guilt.
Lord Jesus please forgive us because we still no not what we do,
May this little prayer be a blessing, and maybe to a few its message may shine through.
