My Prayer
Lord, help me to realize,
my talent comes from you.
That through my stumbling efforts,
You always see me through.
I shall not fail in this work you've given,
as I make my statement against sin.
And when in judgment at last I stand,
through Your mercy I'll enter in.
I've prayed so many times Lord,
that You didn't seem to hear.
But those times Lord, it was me,
for Your Spirit is always near.
