Love Poem: My Pleasure

My Pleasure

My pleasure's not just who you are
But who you'll be tomorrow,
Though of the earth, yet far from me,
Our love no link to sorrow!

Reflected light disarms the night,
Your likeness never captured,
Your prism power fractures rhyme,
I'd guess till time gets raptured!

You're not the first, perchance not last,
My dear, you're such a charmer,
May love that dreams stay in its bed,
And life be wisdom's farmer!

Poet's notes:
Is real love for another person even possible that does not
embrace God's will? Love only fails to be love when it doesn't
enable and encourage our beloved ones to follow their hearts!
Any attempt at controlling another person's life? How can that
be called love?
