My Picture Frame

MY PICTURE FRAME

In my picture frame, I count nine
Standing neatly in a row
Two are hers and two are mine
And that accounts for four

Two others are a lady and me
Two pastors make it eight
And that is all that there should be
I count nine – but wait

The ninth one is Christ Jesus
A reflection from His picture on the wall
It's as if He's there to bless us
As we answer to His call

We are there to join two families
So they all shall be as one
And live together in close harmony
After all is said and done

That was eighteen years ago
We're so glad Christ Jesus came
To join us all together
And be in my picture frame

This is a picture of my wedding day 18 years ago when two families were joined
together in the sight of our Heavenly Father to become one family with Him as
the focal point. That union is still intact today with five (soon to be six) additions.
Writing this poem on Thanksgiving day gives me great pleasure as I give Thanks
and Praise to the One who made it possible.
