Love Poem: My Pain

My Pain

tears race down my cheeks like rain rushes into the creeks
holding back my emotions, seeing past the commotion
reaching out for support, this is truly my last resort
no hands held out to help me, this just cannot be
left out in a world so cold, this game is getting old
ignoring my thoughts of pain, am i really going insane?

fists clenched, clothes drenched, waiting to let go
eyes tired, mind rewired, waiting to let go
body limp, energy skimp, waiting to let go

sight never seeing agian
mouth never kissing again
ears never hearing again
hands never touching again
heart never loving again

my happiness taken by theft,
my pain is all that's left
