My Only Hope
My only hope is to grab His word
Right away when dawn breaks.
I refuse to let my head become
My private Hell…
I pray to God ,my Higher-power
And read His word to fill my
Heart with Love and
Peace each day.
He quenches my deepest emptiness
And helps me rise above.
As long as He is with me I am content,
He dwells right here,
Within my heart,
My recovery time He shares.
If I don’t have Him in my heart,
I will never be free.
I need Him to go with me and
Guide me in His way.
He is my Only Hope for Happiness
Until my dying Day…
