My Neighbor
We grew up together,
him and me,
we built sand castles,
and first kissed under the tall oak tree.
Junior high made us split,
jocks.preps,
such different clicks.
Graduation day made us cry,
as we packed our bags,
and said goodbye.
Miles and miles stood between us,
but neither one of us would forget,
our first kiss.
Five years later we met at a reunion,
we were so pleased,
he said"I thought I'd never see you again",
From that day on,
we've been together,
growing old,growing strong,happily forever.
