Love Poem: My Mother

My Mother

My mother takes me to different places
and laughs at all my silly faces.

She runs me a nice warm bath
and helps me with my math.

My mother makes me healthy snacks to eat
and sometimes let's me have a treat.

She takes care of me when I'm hurt
and cleans me up when I'm covered in dirt.

My mother talks to me about all the dangers
and reminds me not to talk to strangers.

She tells me not to lie
and wipes my tears when I cry.

My mother always brushes my hair
and teaches me how to share.

She claps for me when I'm right
and comforts me in the night.

My mother is 5 feet, 4 inches tall
and she is the best mother of all!

I wrote this poem for children years ago....I thought today was the perfect day to share it with everyone!
