My Most Precious Gift
I have Jesus within my own heart
He’s my guide and leader on the way
showing the way of righteousness to me
pointing me upward so I will never stray
I have Jesus for my own saviour
in my place condemned He stood
forgiving me of all my transgressions
telling the gospel so I have understood
I have Jesus as Lord of my life
surrendering myself completely in all
trusting Him fully for every little thing
protecting me so I won’t make a fall
I have Jesus to heaven all the way
He will take me there I am sure
for His promise is sure and amen
so press on with Jesus to truly endure
