Love Poem: My Mistake

My Mistake

She was the woman,
That I did so adore,
What a surprise,
To find out, she was
But a whore...

Crushed? No....
Atomized...
Vaporized..
Those were such
Lying eyes...

I stumbled into
A real world,
One I did not like...
In tatters was my self-image,
When my love told me;
"Go take a hike"!

What goes around,
Comes around,
This I trust is true,
And if it is, for sure,
I'm glad that I'm not you

What goes around,
Comes around,
This Merry-Go-Round
Of life,
Why I ever chose you,
To be my faithful wife...

What goes around,
Comes around,
Of this you can be sure,
My darling, lovely sweetheart,
You ever-loving whore.

Yes, it goes around,
And goes around,
And always comes back
To the start,
What goes around,
Comes around,
Including a broken heart.
