Love Poem: My Love

My Love

Shouts ring hollow on hallowed walls.
Where once she dwelt and bled and died.
Love hangs mute as worn words recall.
There did our love swell as the tide.

Where once she dwelt and bled and died.
Where angel wings fold round our bed.
There did our love swell as the tide,
with tenderness our true vows said.

Where angel wings fold round our bed,
lights of heaven shine from within.
With tenderness our true vows said,
each promise made, in truth therein.

Lights of heaven shine from within.
I glow with pride each thought of her,
each promise made, in truth therein.
Strong feelings deep within me stir.

I glow with pride each thought of her.
Love hangs mute as worn words recall.
Strong feelings deep within me stir.
Shouts ring hollow on hallowed walls.
