My Lord's Prayer

Lord grant me the humility to seek only for your love,
To pacity my yearning for the knowledge of above,
As my arroance compels me to doubt my fellow soul,
And I in vain attempt to gain the glory of your being,
It seems that every answer does just prove the last one wrong,
Please endow to me the gift that you've endowed so few,
To love my brother as myself and so in turn love you,
So I might believe in just one thing that shant prove wrong,
My faith in your creation is briefly in disjoint,
In true faith I might gain strength to embrace this pain,
That I do nurture in my mocking and disdain,
My god, I'm not religious, the Bible is sometimes false,
But you are real to me in steady quickening of my pulse,
Give me inner brilliance that only you ordain,
So I love all creatures, and take place amongst your reign.
