The lights are fading,
as the shoreline disappears,
where another horizon,
awaits my tears.
How can one know,
or do I dare,
wonder,
does he even care.
Hearts stale with remorse,
broken,
from rejection, and pain,
without hesitation,
I'm between here, and insane.
Salt in my eyes,
the taste on my lips,
remembering,
many a trip.
Still that desire,
an ember so dim,
faintly creeps,
a sillouette of him.
Darkness has fallen,
my mind rambles on,
somewhere,
I will find my life song.
