My Inspiration
why can't i write anymore verse?
Though I've been surrounded with things inspire
couldn't downfalls nor the strongest mirth
Work my pen nor inflame my fire
So I wonder if i lost talent or have never had
but how can it? for i before wrote well of thee
Then why my verse has gone so bad
And no talent I can find in me?
All my good verse was because of your aid
And for my poems i can take no credit
Your eyes make the vilest poet great
And set free the tongues that are knitted
For my verse you take all the praise, dear love
And i take all the blame, because it's never good enough
