My Head In a Cloud
maybe you can learn to love me
but i don't know how i feel
about waiting around to see
i might be in love with a ghost
stuck on a distant memory of
how love's supposed to be
i'm waiting for the other shoe to drop
yet all the while feeling safe
that the shots have not been called
i hover in no man's land
it feels surreal that somehow
time seems stalled and stuck on pause
