Laughing, dancing, singing
With joy beyond imagining
Oaks, birch and emerald pines
Caress my soul with gentle thoughts
Beautiful whispers that soothe
And brighten my heart’s solitude
Silent, yet breathing sighs of pleasure
Awakening naked embraces of light
As it shades the sun’s brilliant fires
With the faded touch of wind’s breath
As it falls across the meadow and hill
Capturing the scene during Autumn’s chill
Loving, like a tender kiss filled with passion
Wistful and rich beyond any enthusiasm
Lasting through the night’s starry reflections
Moonbeams and twinkling so vast that they
Illuminate the heavens with kindness so sure
It comforts the broken heart and soul
Fauna so mysterious it echoes with caution
Of feelings rare and genuine, like light
Shimmering across the still waters and seas
Creating a rhythm so sweet it keeps the mind
Promised empathy alive within the spirit
Securing hope that lives deeper than the fishes
Beauty that soars across the dawn
In hues of faith and serenity, shades
So deep they fade into the attire of sunshine
Light so vivid and delightful it will seem
Like it can edge forever with their parade
Of carefully frosted, blushing blossoms
Rejoicing, praising, praying
Like thoughts of the Son and Savior
Melodious and graceful, pure as chastity
Life reflects the innocence of One
Who knows the heart, the soul, the hope
That lives inside those who abide faithfully
To the Son who shines brighter than the sun!
He is the light that is alive, a fire
On the inside, where He lives, fulfills
Gives the answers and heals
All the worries and fears and tears
Assuring the heart that He is always near
Protecting, promising, pledging to be
The One who gives hearts the chance they need
To believe, achieve and conceive
Of a hope that lives eternally
Jesus is my everything!
