My Cell Phone Keeps Vibrate'N

Earlier this morning, while she was in the shower
I packed all my belongings; I knew I had an hour
Then I slipped out the back door, like the coward that I am
Now in my pants’ front pocket my cell phone is vibrate’n

My cell phone keeps vibrate’n, I feel it against my thigh
But I cannot answer it, because I know I’ll start to cry
My spirit has been broken; my heart’s been torn in two
I am driving to find a dead-zone where her calls can’t come through

I left a copy of the email I found the night before
Laying on her pillow, in the pieces that I tore
It spoke of the secrets that they’ve shared behind my back
Now my cell phone keeps vibrate’n but I ain’t coming back

My cell phone keeps vibrate’n, I feel it against my thigh
But I cannot answer it, because I know I’ll start to cry
My spirit has been broken; my heart’s been torn in two
I am driving to find a dead-zone where her calls can’t come through

Memories of loving her are circling through my mind
But forgiveness for a lost in trust is something I can’t find
A “ding” says there’s an email; a “beep” means there’s a text
And when it starts vibrate’n I feel my heart bleeding in my chest

My cell phone keeps vibrate’n, I feel it against my thigh
But I cannot answer it, because I know I’ll start to cry
My spirit has been broken; my heart’s been torn in two
I am driving to find a dead-zone where her calls can’t come through
