My Brothers
Lord, you brought back my baby brothers today,
What a beautiful blessing to see you again,
Twenty years later all grown up,
I will never forget all the tears, all the love,
I saw your faces, my heart fell to my knees,
I dug up all our pictures of you n me,
My memories stood still for a moment in time,
I held your pictures to my heart, I couldn't stop crying,
I remember the day the social worker took you away,
I cried for days, I wouldn't even go out to play,
Like someone stole a piece of my heart,
I thought I would never see you again, my whole world fell apart,
But now i understand, my heart can breathe,
I will always love you with all my heart, I've been brought back to see.
