My Best Friend; Fear

Doubt; the mother to a little boy; Fear, She has told me beautiful stories Of how great it is to be friends with her Beloved son. Fear has been my best friend. He helps me turn down opportunities And stay away from taking risks. Like heart to body; we were never apart. He was my MTN, I saw him everywhere I went. This love certainly is great, That's why I made him my best friend. Like teenage lovers; I held the hands of Fear, Walked up and fell. I held the hands of Fear, He dragged me down when I tried to climb. I held the hands of Fear, He told me how reasonable it is to hide from the crowd. I once believed in myself But Fear's mother once again Reminded me of how great it was To feel less… I smiled with Fear, We would laugh and cheer When I turned down yet another opportunity Because fear told me it was the best option for me. All to please little boy; Fear And his loving mother; Doubt, I didn't do all I was afraid of And they gave me more reasons to be scared. Little boy; Fear, is no longer a boy, He has grown into a man. His best friend is no longer a girl, I've grown into a lady. My best friend gave me a ring. He proposed to me; Asking me to marry him. His mother; Doubt, was a witness, She told me to say; "yes". I said: "yes!" Indeed, we're getting married.
