My Best Friend
He is always there for me, a friend indeed
I can’t compare Him with anyone tis agreed
The love I have for Him is indescribable
It is alive, on fire, a love so very pliable
When I reach out to Him, he is always there
And when I need Him the most I say a prayer
I have no doubt He hears what I’m requesting
Then He always does send down His blessing
Whatever life brings I always know His love
Sent on angel’s wings from high up above
He reveals to me the way, the truth, the life
Gives me a path to take where there’s no strife
Jesus is the very best friend that I’ve ever known
Since He’s touched my heart, I have surely grown
