My Best Friend
I have a friend
He tries his best
to understand me
he is my world,
he is my best friend
he's always there
at each days end,
he doesn't judge me
he always loves me
he banters me
and we share
the laughter and the tears
he relies on me
and I wont let him down,
he cheers me up
and act like he's
this jester or a clown,
he's my best friend
that is my son,
full of the happiest moments
we have often shared,
we have the best time
always on my mind
and the one I choose to be with
all of the time.
