My Bed Loves You

My bed is finding me strange lately
It is witness to my missing you innately
It has seen and felt me thinking of you
It has given me space to miss you
It has generously denied me sleep to miss you.

I see questions on the length of my bed
It has never seen me this nocturnal
It has never heard me sing in my dreams before
It has never felt me miss anyone’s kiss
It has never given me a chance to dream of bliss

I have had to find time and let my bed know
That every moment that I’m with you
You magically transform hours into seconds
I yearn for such powers to hold time at ransom
And spent more time melting in your ecstasy

My bed can’t get enough of what I feel
It is jealous of your tantalizing kisses
It is intrigued by the fire you spark in me
It is awed by how you fly my soul with ease
It has never seen me this elated before

My bed shares of the million smiles I throw in a night
It has asked my pillow to take count of my grins in vain
My sheets lost count of the turns and turns you put me through
The covers are jealous of the warmth that they can’t give
My bed loves what you have put its master through
