Love Poem: Movin' On

Movin' On

I guess that is just how the old ballads are
Rhythmic firewater and songs passed along
The blues call a few but touch many a heart
New dust on his boots with another guitar song
Singing a love song to the girl behind the bar
School boys do become men 'n' how they do carry on
of lost love and catching all the shooting stars
as midnight twangs of charm then cowboy’s at dawn
