Mother

Babies hear their mother's voice from the womb, forming a bond that will last a lifetime. When a fetus stretches and kicks for room Mom's voice overrides anxiety's climb, seeding feelings of love that'll grow and bloom. Your mother's heartbeat is all you can feel as its rhythm pulses throughout your body. And although her voice may sound surreal, it's meant for you, not for everybody, and keeps your soul tethered to what's real. Mom is love, hope, and trust rolled into one, nurturing and influencing your life. And a mother's love cannot be outdone; different from that of husband and wife it is reserved for a daughter or son. Family provides the tools babies need, fathers imbue strength; mothers imbue love. And there is nothing that can supersede a mother's love; for like God up above, her greatest desire is that you succeed. Nothing can prepare you for that feeling of helplessness; as you watch your mom die. Her death's palpable, leaving you reeling, and you simply want to curl up and cry; for such pain needs a lifetime of healing.
