Morning Prayer
Grant me the courage to face everyday,
show me the wisdom to follow your way;
heal all my troubles, my sorrows and strife,
Lord God, shape my life.
Wake me each morning with a silent prayer,
be with me always, oh Lord, please be near;
only your deep love could ease my travail -
I accept your will.
Without You, Lord Jesus, I am so weak,
a twig in a storm, I easily break;
turn my weaknesses into strength, Lord,
by thy holy word.
Teach me to love You through my fellowman,
lead me on until the long day is done;
don't let me falter, let me right the wrong,
make me firm and strong.
Dear Lord, please grant me this solemn wish -
make me a channel of your divine peace;
let me treat others with kindness always,
Master, share your grace.
