Morning, the Clouds In the Distance

Morning
(Clouds in the distance.)

The sun rises,
I watch from the wood porch.
I have been up for hours... waiting.
Unsure of the reason,
other than the fact that I am here.
What do I need?
I have already asked?
Again...
The same as before,
but different.
Healing for the weak,
faith for the unsteady...
Strength for the small,
and humility for the tall.
Repentance for the world,
every soul a different dime,
time to unwind...
"What the song should be."
It is also the time to be kind...
and know that some will...
never see.
They will be left, behind.
Gather your family, call to your friends...
make your amends, to known enemies.
This day and every day will be counted.
The history will be taken down,
changed by those that lie,
but the truth is in the pie.
Giants eating the bones of the past,
small minds confronted with their legacy,
it is a matter of grace in infancy.
Look to the heavens every moment of every day.
The King has unleashed the storm.
Fear not, only believe,
to be free of chains...
born again...
as he calls your name,
before the rain.

God bless your day...
