More Than One Piece
The sorrow I feel for you inside,
That you refused to open your eyes,
Dear heart, if you could see inside,
You would be shocked the love you find,
The excuse, it's not you, it's me,
But we're together in this to see,
The triggered emotions trip and fall,
But are you willing to answer the call,

Do you have the patience and compassion to work through this,
I have fought the battle with you by my side,
You are my hands, I am your eyes,
When my feet can't move, you are my walk,
When my voice can't speak, you will talk,
The difference of approach is no difference at all,
Whether outwardly or humbly we fight for the same cause,
Back and forth, we take turns,
Working together, giving back to the world,
Full armor is better than just one piece,
Because with the battles we fight that's what we need.
