Love Poem: Moonlight Dance

Moonlight Dance

Two lovers, taking a midnight stroll
Two hearts beating, binding the soul

Eyes that never wander
emotions running wild

He caresses her cheek
he loves to make her smile

He looks up into the starry sky
a little nervous but he has much pride

He brings her into his warm embrace
she looks at him, such beauty and grace

The two begin to sway
he must not miss this chance

How better to end the day
but with a moonlight dance

Her head on his shoulder
his heart full of love

He takes in her pleasant scent
knows she was sent down from above

The stars were shining
ever were they so bright

They shared a true love's kiss
then told the moon goodnight
