Love Poem: Moonbiz

Moonbiz

It's just another lazy moon
That wanders around this world
Looking for a chance
To inspire boys and girls
To make them think
That love is just a lofty place
Drifting without tethers
Where heart beat like native drums
While floating on a feather

I sure could use a moon
To circle over me
To wake me up inside
and teach me how to see
Then take a girl by the hand
And walk beneath it
As we smell jasmine bloom
Dancing on the stars, how could you beat it
With that glowing lunar light, to chase away the gloom

Well, I think I'll wait awhile
To see if it will come
Even just a half, is better
Than having none
And the girl, I hope she's waiting
For me under the stars
And the Moon's anticipating
Shining light on me
Helping me to see
