Money isn't everything
O.K. A smile it might bring
to a child or a teen
But as an adult I've seen
It can just bring misery
I would rather have for me
A family that's lovingly sweet
Than a big expensive treat
A hug to hold me so tight
Is better than a shiny bright
Object that is sitting there
Not giving out any care
Like the soft words of someone
When your world comes all undone
Or the touch of a loving hand
Saying someone understands
Everything your going through
Because they have been there too
Love is a great priceless gift
That gives your spirits a lift
