Love Poem: Molested Time

Molested Time

Molested, tested, invested, my time in you
on a Saturday night in June. Now what am I
supposed to do? I am so through
with dealing with the hurt that you have put me through.

Sedated, elated, it’s been stated that you don’t
love me anymore. But just in case you change
your mind and don’t walk out the door. I am free today
and open to give it a "once more".

Beams, steam, dream, team, I thought we were one
working together to make this love that we both
desire to inspire work. All through the broad daylight
and night, but all we do is fight.

Fall, stall, call out my name in your beautiful voice that
drives me insane. I will not blame you anymore, it is
you not me that will miss out on all the good things
I have in me.
