Love Poem: Mistaken-Love

Mistaken-Love

Silently awaken to the beating of the heart
                  Suddenly my tummy dances butterflies
Thoughts accompany the silent night.
My body burns with passion and sadness
Anguish and guilt laugh at me
My frozen heart has been warmed

Couldn't hold back even though I knew that you were trouble
          Your arms assured me safety
The few minutes spent by your side, I felt like a chick that has learned to fly

Dearly beloved, why did you come when yet you couldn't stay
You woke something in me, that makes my heart limp at your sight.
My ignorance of the "L.O.V.E" world has been wrecked
I had been a lost penguin in the Sub-Sahara
                    A camel in the Greenland.

I hid away from looking into your eyes afraid to never be able to erase the glad eye
I pretend not to care, like nothing happened but my heart bleeds.
It's worth a minutes' dream but divisible reality.

In a split second you were gone and my fingers felt cold without your cuddle.
