Missing the Game

Missing Love

Its hurts so bad when you find out that you cant be with the one you love so much.
So many feelings so many sacrifices, and time wasted because of man made
things. It kind of makes me ashamed of being man made but you cant blame
man for emotional destruction its deeper than that. Sometimes we have to think
a little deeper and really ask ourselves how and why did we get here. How did we
end up missing the one that love instead of dying with the one we love. Can we
blame television, the radio, the press and other so called bad influences, no, we
can only blame bad decisions, and at the moment feelings. Sometimes we need
to make decisions from the heart but our heart is like a wrong answer, never in
the right place. We practice with it starting off with crushes and lusts but when it
comes to the big game, it cant perform. When it comes to the heart some people
are clutch players, key players, starters always getting in and out like its nothing.
But me I’m the player that never gets in, always sitting on the bench watching my
fellow players use and abuse their playing time. Observing them making plays to
win the game and messing up plays to lose. We all want to win but somebody
has to lose, they should just play the game so that as soon as everyone on the
team has had their play the game is over. Or maybe we shouldn’t compete
against one another at all. But what does this have to do with love? The game is
love our opponent is our lover and each play is rather the good or bad times that
we each endure. Instead of playing this game I choose to sit and watch others
endure pain and glory, I mean I got in once but I got hurt so bad that I didn’t want
to play anymore. And now I’m here on the bench missing love.
