Love Poem: Miss You, Miss

Miss You, Miss

Age was never a factor between us,
Our love for English brought us together,
And we stayed that way, until recently...
Others named us "Laurel and Hardy"
And we laughed it away,
Those days we spent evaluating papers,
Talking of this, that and everything in between,
Can never be forgotten...

You are a shining star, confident and glowing,
My role model of how a teacher should be,
You cleared away all my silly doubts,
And I learnt so much from you...
We helped each other whenever possible
And that's what friends are for...

We spent precious moments together,
Editing our school magazine,
Preparing for Annual Day,
Leading the students,
And now all that remains are the memories...

I still remember you in my prayers,
Be happy wherever you are,
Spread light wherever you go,
Live long as a teacher and guide,
May your children grow up to be great!
I wish you all the best, Miss...

But most of all, I miss you!
