Love Poem: Mirrica

Mirrica

not since i saw your face
have i saw a face so fine
not since then had i wishes
for someone to be mine
not since then has love
entered or left my mind
or faded like the others
with the passage of time
curiosities have waned
of things of interest to find
there is a steady flow
of you going all the time
reaching in and refusing to unwind
a face with just a little
kindness binds
beauty with grace
i deem so divine

if i could place you in my universe
my sun would fill you with warmth
my moon would light your way
through the dark
my stars would remind you
of God's nature and art
the beauty of the constellations
would be my creation of feelings
as numerous as the stars
each shinning in their place
in my soul
each a feeling for you
yet to be told
my earth would set you by the sea
in the tropics where you'd never leave
we'd live like Adam and Eve
on a deserted island just you and me
