Mirage of Destruction

Travelling forlorn in the desert with the bruise of my life, in the bleak maze of your deceptive dunes I wander enticed, and as I am seduced by your delusive mask, my broken heart scatters in the debris of your lure. Finding no convincing reason why this should happen, I still search for an expensive oasis in your deserted love, but turn into dense dust plume in desolate wasteland, and blow away to oblivion in the desert storm. From the tree of longing that has grown into despair, I am now dislodged, and float as a lone leaf torn, rustle with the tormenting tune of melancholic music, in its hopeless journey toward the horizon of isolation. Under the scorching sun burning the façade of desire, across the dunes of deprivation I drift desiccated with the shifting sands of time designing myriad of illusion, in the mirage of your flashing eyes I see my destruction.
