Love Poem: Message With the Wind

Message With the Wind

As you blow past me today wind
Travelling across the mountains…..
As you make your silent journey
Whispering to the leaves
I have a message to someone
You to carry along with.

As you travel the distances
Past homesteads and the trees
Then find the one I love
Hidden in this vast forest of men……
Give out this message
That I duly entrust with you.

Give out the tale of the rains
Showers and downpours……
The travel of waters from the heights
Down it’s free driven course
The seasons that turn in mind
Tell that they are from my eyes.

Speak of the fire you found with me
When my little heart snuggled for warmth
During the days we were in love.
Speak how they run wild
Burning my emotions and concerns
For I was left dry and arid in heart.

Narrate the tale of the sea
How I rock in this little boat
That I was left with when love got lost……
Speak of the high tides
The massive waters
Where I see no horizon.

Speak out for yourself oh wind
How you so charmed and calmed
Those lost days in your gentle blow…….
Talk about the anger I taught you
Because of this loneliness and pain
I made you break the branches.

Yes talk about the rainbow
The many colors I count
In wishes and dreams
If love ever finds me again…….
The many colors I want to paint again
With a heart so eager and lonely
